We just saw Jien Mining convert their convertible notes to equity - logic indicates this means Jien will proceed with their funding for NTU, which again indicates they have the project funding or a large part of it lined up
If Jien thought NTU was a bad investment then they would have asked for their $5M back ....... instead they converted their $5M loan to equity to become a substantial shareholder in NTU - says it all really
The cost reduction and resizing measures is more than likely the tradeoff required by Jien to secure their support and the project funding
Like many long term shareholders I have followed NTUs development for years, everything this astute management team does appears well thought out and well planned
