    Just because you love driving doesn't mean everyone else does . Talk to the amount of young people these days that don't bother to get a licence . I know heaps of them . Even country kids . As opposed to 30 years ago when you got your licence on your birthday .

    E.g. The elderly will embrace this as not having a licence ( or not being well enough to drive ) is a massive loss of freedom for them .

    Not using any new technology ? Are you serious ? I suppose you're right as a 2015 car isn't any newer technology than a model T . It's got four wheels and is used for transport . I know which one I'd rather drive .

    Yes , telecommuting will ( hopefully ) reduce the need to drive or fly a lot of places in the future . But that won't stop humans wanting to travel and mingle , especially locally , for a long time to come .
