The lastest was a shocker (unless you support Queensland) ! Game one was by far the best (went down to the wire and 1 point decided the game).
Soccer is Soccer that's what we call our team the soccerRoos.........not the FootballRoos !!!!!!!!!
The soccer power brokers want Australians to call their game football.....but It's not going to happen in my life time because we already have a two codes that use the name "football" so bugger of and let us call it soccer !
P.s. I enjoy the world cup, but in general terms I find the players of soccer to be soft nancy boys that can't take any form of physical punishment, this is why the game was so unpopular in Australia for so long. I'm thinking about letting my daughter play the game, in the safe knowledge that a bruised shin is likely to be her most serious injury ;-)
