This thing about AFL players running 21 klms a game is rubbish, think about it. 21000mts, average length of the field is 150mts I think, 21000diveded by 150 =140. Average time per game 120 minutes so that means a player would have to run from one end to the other 1.1 times per minute for the whole game, I dont think so. The only player who may do this every now and again is the ruck rover apart from that they dont do a hell of alot.
