I didn't like the takeover idea but at the time it was in shareholder's best interests.
They SHOULD HAVE done a cap raising or sold assets as the SP started to slide.
$15, $14, $13, $12, $11, $10, $9, $8, $7... then back up to almost $9, no action, then $8, $7, $6, $5, $4..
They SHOULD HAVE hedged oil price at $110 a barrel - clearly there was more downside risk than upside.
But do this would've required a proactive board with some sense
