dolce - By peers, I meant the biotech industry, quite simply, the GICS into which it places itself (or is placed by others). I don't know who MacBank is (but I have worked for most major Wall St Banks and Brokerages in my time, albeit in database management). I like to fee I know the US system VERY well.
Regardless, it doesn't matter what you say, this IPO is a disaster, and I suggest that smaller holders will be running for the exits as fast as they can, regardless of your urgings (and I've told you I've known Silviu 30 years, even today he lives only blocks from me).
Most people don't like losing all their capital. It not complex. The stock has been languishing some 4-5 years, and this is the cruelest cut of all. BTW, there is nothing wrong with shorting (tho' I'm not permitted to do it in Super Fund). Personally, I'm redundant, and need to make money on which to live. This is the biggest loss I've ever taken in Australia, a huge setback. I don't have another 5 years to wait, as other might.

People will now have to get accustomed to currency exposure, if not already, but then, I see it (AUDUSD) headed - at last - to 0.63-0.64, which works for my US domiciled ETF's, traded on ASX. A way to benefit from collapsing AUD without using other more complex instruments (Commodity Currency futures, for example).
