All conspiracy theories and fantasies aside, the most likely reason for the delay is probably difficulty in obtaining an accurate fire assay of this first batch of drilling samples. The accuracy of the standard fire assay processes used by commercial laboratories can be affected by unusual sample compositions, in particular the presence of high gold with low silver, exotic elements such as tellurium and selenium, and also unforseen concentrations of copper, nickel, arsenic, etc. These inaccuracies will show up in repeat/check samples, and it is not unusual for the first sample batch from a new area to require repeat assays and refinement of the assay process before the laboratory is satisfied that the results they are producing are accurate. These Juma East samples could certainly be requiring a few initial tweaks, eg. to account for the levels of free gold, tellurium and other exotic metals, and perhaps arsenic level in the sulphides. All of this is perfectly normal and no one of it should be any cause for concern.
