Hi Samwally, I also like the idea of localised power production. The current business model of Quantum is to either build and then on-sell the project for the factory to manage, or to build and finance it themselves and extract a long term power purchase plan, of which the Goulburn project is of the latter. I'm trying to get my head around the figures but they estimate a delivery 4 MWhr per annum then at a very conservative figure of 10 cents per kWhr that's $400k a year. Plus 100000 carbon credits at about $10 each is another $1 mil over 7 years. There also have access to a $20 mil loans through the CEFC. The technology is well established. When the clean energy sector once again becomes the "flavour of the month" I expect to see some movement...it seems currently all the eyes are on shell companies and technology plays. Chartwise it is turning over "respectable" volume and OBV is on the rise too. Wait and see.
