As for your proposition that we should somehow negotiate or reconcile with those murderous bastards in IS, I think that is despicable and cowardly.
These people deserve nothing but death and destruction for the evil they have enacted. IMO nothing can be gained by trying to reason or accommodate such evil. It must be countered head on.
