Boggle and Chandler who died New Years Eve 1961 on the banks of the Lane Cove river died as a result of an accumulation of Co2 - it's heavy. Like wise animals have died after volcanic eruptions due to accumulation of Co2 in valleys as it tends to fall rather than rise.
The accumulation of CO2 in the oceans is the problem.
