As for the tax offset, im pretty sure George that you have to register as a trader to use the profits as trading profits, and you cant be one or the other during the year. Ie its either offset against income, or capital gains, ur choice, but cant do both.

Each has their advantages.

I could be wrong though, my expertise is in super.
