    Aren't we missing the point here? If a member of the armed forces (who I assume are sworn to protect Australia) partakes in a cultural event from an ideaology of which some members have declared war on us, then isn't that some form of treason?

    I'm sure that any Australian soldier caught doing a few 'Heil Hitlers' during WW2 would have been charged with treason. What's changed?
