I would have said we have no place in this war - but we do . Since being cajoled into it by the US we now have some responsibility to help solve it .
Unfortunately we can't solve it , nobody can other than the warring factions themselves .
England and France reneged on their agreements with the Arabs after WWI and decided to split it up between them after the war . This was the recipe for never ending conflict .
Perhaps England and France need to step up and try and broker some peace in the region after 100 years . The creation of Israel was the nail in the coffin for the Middle East but I for one am happy they are there because they alone stand against a potential nuclear state/s
