Try and consider this. The room you are sitting in is the earths atmosphere. It is filled with 10,000 molecules. Last century 3 of those molecules were CO2. This century, 4 of those molecules are now CO2. The room is so much hotter now isn't it because of that extra 1 in 10,000 th atmospheric molecule being an extra CO2 molecule.
