good move by kcn, and watso seems to think that sp's logic is well founded. andean directors, continuously seem to allude to other parties being extremely interested in the company - eg
"Considerable interest is being shown in Andean by other miners proceeding with due diligence and site visits. Andean has invited Kingsgate
to undertake similar due diligence to demonstrate the development potential of Cerro Negro and its considerable exploration upside. "
yet more than 4 months after kcn first made a bid, no alternative offer has been placed on the table. as sp suggests, it may well be that kcn want to force andean, to show their hand, by keeping shareholders fully informed as to the status of this "considerable interest" - which may well turn out to be pretty flimsy
given the discount that andean is trading at, then the market would be more than surprised if an alternative offer is made
