AGM was worth attending I thought. Terrific to talk one on one with Kathryn Foster. She is excited. She spoke really well and gave a detailed run down of her experience and achievement. She started out writing code and went from there to running billion dollar budgets.
When asked why she has taken this gig she said that while there are many good technologies out there she believes IWG is the only one that 'does it all'. While I didn't understand everything she said (I'm still googling the how radio works question), I felt impressed. She certainly seems to know what she's talking about.
As I've stated on here previously I really believe the first big step is going to be confirmed significant funding early next year, say $20 mill or at least enough to guarantee they can service what they sell.
Wagging wanted to know TLS numbers. They weren't forthcoming but I think the December quarter should show real improvement. They have been very busy even in Perth inducting around 30 partners (I think that's correct Bells? They are called partners?).
Overall I feel the IWG people are excited and impatient to really crank this up. They have missed out on a couple of significant contracts purely because of their skinny balance sheet - getting funding will solve that.
It's not going to happen overnight but this shareholder thinks the ride is just beginning.
