iiNet surpasses June targets and looks to future 28-June-06 by Edited announcement
In what could be the first sign of recovery for a beleagured iiNet, the company has surpassed its 100,000 customer target for its ADSL2+ broadband infrastructure, set for June 2006.
This confirms iiNet's position as the largest ADSL2+ provider in Australia
The company has faced difficulty after the acquisition of Ozemail, which boosted iiNet's customer base by more than 50 per cent and caused the company, in the words of managing director Michael Malone, "serious indigestion".
The news comes after Mr Malone spent $4.3 million to increase his stake in the company to almost 20 percent.
