I would say they are getting more Australian , although it may not be in the way initially many non Muslims would consider appropriate ie Muslims can be seen protesting in Australia, a rite of passage they were unable to do in their home country .
They are utilising the social and legal services that are available to them although seem over represented in crime.
They enjoy religious freedom in Australia and New Zealand.
They are opening small businesses and children are learning English which has to be a good thing.
Eventually after a couple of generations and social upheaval I am sure they will be an integral part of society , however that society will be very different in make up from what is current with possibly Sharia law , do the current majority want to accept that ?
