duicorp, currently the govt giving them 4000 for the first baby and I think they get 600 per annum for each other child under 15, plus about 170 a fortnight for every child under 16, about 13000 a year with 3 kids, plus the 3 x 600 so its about 15000 free non taxable money
now when we were starting out, we never got anything, or was it 2 per month for a child if they had given us 4000 we would have put it towards the deposit on our first home, no grants then either oh and they still think they are hard done by they will go out and buy baby toys and disposable nappies with that new money cheez
