re: for cdchi-gold fundamentals/cbm gas Here you go again CDCHI berating gold as having no fundamentals despite my extensive posts blowing you out of the water and detailing all the fundamentals- to which you did not reply and went very silent. Few people support your views - most astute observers around the world KNOW gold has many fundamental reasons to increase in price -and that is being demonstrated once again in the past 48hrs. If you are going to stick to your ridiculous simplistic line at least do us all a favour and tell us why all the fundamentals I posted are not relevant.

As for CBM gas -which I have researched in depth over the past years - I can't for the life of me see any real potential in Australia at current gas prices -unlike the USA. Here in WA where there is potentially lots of CBM, gas is so cheap they are going broke and last time I looked at QLd and did the numbers with a few people it was marginal, unlike the potential in the USA. But my research is about 6-12 months out of date as I have not been following CBM lately. Perhaps someone may have a quick update on the economics. I was looking to tie up acreage in the USA and float a CBM company on the ASX -because it is such a vibrant industry in the USA -if gas prices there did/do not collapse. Similar ASX listing to the AMU story.
