They report in Feet over there. So Ice#1 had another 1677 ft to 7" casing point & drill towards the marker before tripping out & running in with two separate 90ft coring assemblies.

GB did the same up north, at Alcor & Merak, so not surprised to see the same operative procedures at Ice#1. The former 2 were subsequently kicked off as laterals in the Shale, not sure abt the flowrates as that's not on Open file. Merak is apprx 28kms due north from Ice#1 & was cored from 9012-9089' & then from 10611-10933'. TD was 11094' measured depth.

So after cuting cores 88E will drill out the rest of the play ie Kuparuk, Kingak & Shubilik formations till prognosed TD of 11600'.

Good to see them have a spectral gamma assembly organised for the core when it comes out. Should b the usual process, ie cut it into 1 metre lengths, chip off the edges for quick looksy, seal the rest of it & send it off to the labs for routine core analysis & other complex studies.

So post TD & logging they'll update the mkt on the total gross pay intersected in the Cretaceous play & relevant net pay. They arent doing a DST here. The core samples as such will take months in the lab. That should help them with deciding on Ice#2 etc. Hope this helps.
