I was at the AGM. Both reports were presented in a detached, unemotional manner, never looking at their audience and reading every word. I did approach both afterwards and suggested a more empathetic approach to their presentation might go down better with disgruntled shareholders. They both accepted this comment graciously. Jenny did say every word is reported to the ASX so we need to be so CAREFUL. For Heavens sake dear..Other CEO's manage to do it. But then a lawyer running the company says it all eh! Also, for the first time ever afternoon tea was just that..cup of tea or glass of coke and a few dried sandwiches. I also mentioned this to both and that it appears just downright mean and stingy and that we deserve at least a glass of wine. After all a few boxes of vino would amount to far less than the Sydney contingent's accommodation and expenses over here for the AGM. Oh, there was the 70th birthday cake. Dear Bob would turn in his grave. RIP.
