I thought they were getting a conventional rig rather than a heavy-duty rig? If they use Hab2 they may be limited by the size of the casing. I wouldn't be dissapointed to hear it was a heavy-duty rig 8.5'' and the hole was from the surface.

I noted that mud would be used until the top heat exchange. That still leaves drilling down to the lower heat exchange and a little further - without mud.

The honest reporting of the bad news was impressive. It must have been heart-breaking for poor ol bertus. Despite the suspended drilling i think everyone would appreciate the efforts of those involved. Thanks and good luck guys.

My next thought was, well GDY could use the time to start on the power plant, particularly if the Grant is successful. Or a Kalina plant somewhere. But on reflection I guess the financial plan is in place and must be followed....
