These sort of deals get setup a long way out and this one is really no surprise. People who supposedly "run" these companies can be very opportunistic and they no doubt will move on to their next gravy train.
Unfortunately many normal shareholders in theses small caps get shafted because they are told what they want to hear and are not privy to all the back room deals that get promoted. That's the system!!
As for the offer, I would rather burn my share certificate than give them away for a pittance to a mob who aren't fair dinkum. Sounds like it has just got too hard for the UML board if they are recommending this.
