Denk12, IMO comments like those below demonstrate that Tony Abbott is very confused about the separation of Church and State:
. His retort to Kerry O'Brien about 'Gospel truth',
. The extent to which he has funded 'private schools' and rules he has applied to Chaplains in secular public schools,
. His remark on national television about feeling threatened by homosexuality,
. His denial even of a conscience vote to MPs on SSM,
. His farewell statement invoking the judgement of God,
. His criticisms as our PM of Pope Francis about matters from global warming to its impact on the poor,
. His latest series of outbursts which IMO seek to invoke the wrath of God against Islam.

IMO it's small wonder that so many eminent people from Gillian Triggs to Richard Di Natale have called for Abbott to stop.
