Uncleart, I am indeed an atheist. I'm also appalled by mankind's inhumanity to each other and by our human-centric view of the universe to the detriment of all other life forms and to our environment.
Although my faith is in science, I nevertheless respect the rights afforded to all Australians to the religion of their choice.
IMO those values which collectively define us as Australians and which I do my best to live by, are the province of NO single religion [even though they claim to embrace them as their own].
