Do u mean staff from Axiom or staff from the Courts?
Sorry if that is a dumb question.

Here is something of interest.
"The Solomon Islands Rules do not provide that judgement (for appeals) must be given in open court, but section 11(9) of the Costitution provides that all proceedings, (including the announcement of the decision of the court), must be held in public."

So it appears that just an email to the parties is "not appropriate".
