Just going back to the shorting of PLS yesterday and presumadly today, they need to get the shares from somewhere. Assuming no institution has a large percentage yet, then they must be coming from one of the brokers.
If that is the case, unless you let the broker know that your shares are not available for lending, then it might just be our shares being shorted. I believe you can ring your broker and have your own shares put on a do not lend list.
My suggestion is that we all do that before they really start playing big games with the shares for a cheap T/O. As Commsec seem to have the lions share of the shares, I wouldn't be surprised if that is the source of the shorted stock.
Time to fight back the big boyz games!!
