Before they started to drill they already had an excellent idea from the 3D data what was under the drill.
The data was part of the permit application and approval. None of us picked that up. But Steve Larratt did and it was confirmed by DW of 88E.
We will have to pay for the 3D data on the rest of our leased areas.
Given the close proximity of Alkaid 1 it is a reasonable assumption that what we can expect similar results.
Alkaid 1 was a conventional play and, even though we don't yet have all the data, it was by all accounts not a duster.
Our chances of commercial oil are now much more than 25%. but that is just my opinion. DYOR.
I doubt that Steve Larratt will selling any time soon
