Fun to read, but it's no more than a sensationalism of the acreage expansion we've known about since the SPP was announced. It points out a worthwhile reality though; there is little competition for successful explorers right now and the big boys would be paying attention to them all, given the low oil price would mean for many an increased production to keep up turnover and profit.

At least we know any significant positive announcement will have a very sharp jump - shareholders and oil farmers alike will be waiting to pounce on ol 88...
