I think this is why the rich get richer and the poor get screwed. Shake the tree so violently, give no info make it appear all is doomed , share prices gets hammered, those that are in the know then get to buy at such cheap prices they can get a massive stake. the shorts are happy thinking this is doomed as these people buying do so in a very controlled manner and then guess what. The deal is signed when everyone is ready. The shorts that are not in the know then get fried, those that have been beaten into submission and sold get lifelong regrets and the old school money makes a little bit more to add to their already enormous fortunes because thats the way the world works. Instos are not really selling those long term holders are that have had their wills broken who are buying ? well no sane person would buy unless they were aware of something.
So lets see how this plays out.
