Emergency OPEC meeting, page-13

Hi H...the greens agenda is definitely to replace fossil fuels with renewables.

But that agenda comes with a caveat. Stop new coal mines and new oil exploration (especially fracking) NOW.

Climate warming and Co2 damage to the atmosphere is the call to arms.

    Renewable energy is the cure.

Lower oil prices lets coal generators convert to gas. Close coal mines.

Lower oil prices cripple fracking operations. Close down Shale.

Lower oil prices pulls funding for oil exploration. Deep sea exploration is the first to feel the pinch.

The Paris agreement, amongst other things, restricts governments from subsidizing the fossil fuel industry and I take it that would include the world bank.

The funds that are contributed by governments and banks to the Paris Agreement for development of renewable technologies have stipulations that insure they return a profit.

How do you return a profit on high cost new technology when market forces will be attracted to low cost oil, gas and coal???....You make low cost oil, gas and coal more expensive.

How do you make oil, gas and coal more expensive???....you restrict supply.

How do you restrict supply???...you refuse to approve new non-renewable developments.

Meanwhile economies of scale are reached with renewable technologies and they become the norm.!

Who drafted the terms of the Paris Agreement?....I wonder?

Slam dunk for the green movement.....and believe me I am all for it..
