What chance is there for civil redress, page-6

Sadly bm3121 ABU's performance and reporting is common place with these kind of stocks. I could fill a toilet roll with the amount of companies who have gone through similar hype, cr and then crashed leaving the share holder hurting. Gold stocks have always been more of a dream than a reality for most of these companies " Thar's gold in them thar hills" unfortunately it is hard to stay focused when buying these shares and the reality is for us to watch how much cash we put at risk.
I have had several stocks that remained in my portfolio for long periods that dropped to more or less zero or went completely after promising reporting & information BCD, RAU, SRR, INL, JRV etc. all mining stocks and now ditched. Luckily for me these are always tongue in cheek investments and I never buy more on the downward trend thinking they must come good eventually. Whenever I invest in mining spec stocks I always go in with the mind set that the cash is already dead, this prevents me over investing, a bit like lending cash to a nice friend or relative but knowing it is unlikely they will be able to pay it back.
Once I concluded that the previous stock were rubbish, got rid of them and accepted I had at least kept the directors in a comfortable life style for long periods it is amazing how quickly we move on. Sadly ABU sucked us in over a much longer period than most 8+years for me in and out.
Civil action for me would just be a long drawn out project that would probably be less mentally rewarding than the ABU stock I am holding. To Sum it up and as hard as it is to swallow "Buyer Beware" and hopefully the next stock we pick will be more rewarding. That is if we think we are in the lucky 25% that actually show a profit doing this. Just my 2c of course and good luck.
