People need to get a grip .
Firstly if all the busy bodies hadn't gone racing off to ASIC in a blind panic the stock would still be trading and have increased chances of putting together a deal . So that was just a complete brain fade or total inexperience and imprudence from whoever did that.
As far as Deltatrader's telephone conversation goes I'm tipping it's likely that that JC ,whoever he is , simply told him that he was doing his best ,it was a delicate situation, he's trying to put a deal together for the company . All the things that have been fairly clearly indicated in any ASX announcement . For anyone who isn't aware this is the worst market for oil stocks in living memory ,most of the specs have lost 80% value ,whatever the company gets out of this will be a plus.
My interest in this stock lies in other investments I have in the region.
Finally the best thing all you people could do is just forget about it and wait until you hear more news. If the company had anything to tell anybody they'd be doing it ,especially since they're now under the watchful eye of the authorities. The original deal was announced without any terms ,probably because there weren't any at that stage ,so this has just been a rareish example of HC not helping anybody and individuals overreacting due to inexperience . If you invest in these sorts of stocks be prepared for the unexpected . It's now just a waiting game
