Rationality, please!

I've been investing for over a decade on the sharemarket. I rode the GFC, took a hit on a lot of stocks, rode some down and some up and traded my way back to where I started. I've participated in a few SPPs, enough to know that the price almost always retraces to the announced SPP price. Which was 8 cents. It often drifts down below that, stays there for a while and waits for news before recovering.

That's my first point. Second point is that I've seen the bottom fall out of a lot of stocks. They fall 10 times faster than they rise. If you truly believe that insider trading is a problem and a reason for a lot of these falls, then you should not be in the sharemarket. My personal viewpoint is yes, there is probably insider information, but it doesn't account 100% for each and every fall, which brings me to....

Third point: fear versus greed. I confess to falling prey to greed over this one, bought in at .14. I still think it has a good solid future, but would like to see it partner up to get the app out there. Hotel chains or rental sites, for instance, featuring it. I was in LA recently and wanted to go shopping and the concierge at my hotel said just give us a call when you are ready to be picked up. The problem was, the phone call (global roaming, Australian provider) was expensive. An app like this provides a simple and cheap solution to problems like this for travellers. I still believe in it, I just think it is going to be a slow and halting ride back up.

Fear rules today. It was interesting to read the posts here and see how fast everyone turned, on news that is not negative, just not as positive as everyone wanted to hear.
