Maybe they are 2 different products, but maybe look them as... Desktop vs laptop.
Desktop would be the Minicare Home, which is bigger, and maybe more features while it can send results to someone to analyse the results, where as the Minicare Acute would be the laptop version, smaller, lighter, can be brought to anywhere to give results within minutes.
And if they've gotten the Acute to work, I don't see why the Home version wouldn't share similar hardware/software with inclusive of Mix&Go IF it's included in the Acute.
But it does seem like Philips is trying to provide a holistic solution for hospitals/doctors to individual/homes.
