Yes Pinto with all due respect to you, you have already made 10 fold on your investment in AJX, so your opinion and appreciation of these guys is probably much greater than say others who have entered at these sort of levels and are yet to realise any profit from their investment or carrying a small loss if they bought in around $1 mark .
The payments made to people like mike smith from anz of $10 million and more a year is disgraceful whilst the same bank will penny pinch their staff's wage and cut jobs with little regards for anything but extorting everything they can for themselves. Regardless of whether they run a multi billion dollar company or not , a $10 million salary doesn't mean he does a better job than if he got paid 2 million , extrapolate this gouging down through all the levels of senior management and their would be hundreds of senior management at ANZ no doubt getting paid substantially more than Australia's prime minister . Imagine how much over maybe 10 years or more in the job they are being paid 50-100million.
Anz is just an example, this is rife through most public companies.
For the record though I think Nick has certainly earn this money this year, I for 1 could not be away from my kids for the duration of time he is away from his.
