No it didn't close then. I didn't say it definitely would. But you still don't follow what my post was about.
I was clearly highlighting that it's better to buy a stock without a gap than with. That doesn't mean that all gaps are immediately filled. Think in terms of probabilities - which is what trading is partly about. A 1 tick gap with price just above the gap means it is more likely (but not definitive) that the gap will be closed. With EDE it didn't. Whooppeee. Who cares. 9/10 times though that kind of gap would close IMO but you wouldn't see it on any chart retrospectively.
