On the funding side they have stated they are reducing cash burn by 20-25% on the previous corresponding periods. This will extend the runway into commercialisation of multiple products (potentially).
I believe they will sign 1-2 major partners this year, they did mention signing new partners in the last strategic update. But until this happens it does still remain a risk.
I have to say the risk/reward at these levels is very attractive hence why iv bought a large position. I disagree that the year has been an underperformance, results we received this year were very positive and we signed a major partner in celgene who tipped in 40 million dollars into mesoblst at almost 100% premium to the current share price. This clearly shows they have faith in the science. We also got product approval in Japan, received a royalty payment and the revenues will start rolling in shortly. The share price drop was purely on the Nasdaq listing and not on the science in my opinion.
