I agree I had heard that they use independent contractors a lot. That does not surprise me but in these larger projects you do need a coordinator who has that reach.
The issue with other players is that of the cost of acquisition of the work and its a slow process - also shares are not forever - not many marriages are that either these days.
What is logical is that over time a company like SSM - if they do the work properly - gets a competitive advantage and most of that is its past and its skills.
So this is a good one for now but now is not forever. All my opinion DYOR
