I think it is reasonably easy.
The bigger players will have a set of metrics in their sights and will buy if they see what they need to see.
Therefore, if you see the price run and it is sustained on large volume then you will know that the announcement has hit its mark. And you ought to get your snout in the trough.
HC chat tends to become very "now" focused and often misses, or forgets important detail.
The SPP was heavily oversubscribed (this ought to be a clue) and this is straight from the MD's presentation following the release of the prospectus.
Operational
- World Phone, successfully launched July 2015
- 1 million downloads in the first 3 months, active in more than 200 countries and 5100 cities
- Annualised revenue run rate greater than $1.3m p.a.
- On track for Android launch on 30 November
- Corona, two international customers on board
Financial
- Oversubscribed first raising of $5.5 million at $0.02/share
- Recently completed oversubscribed placement to institutions of $5.6 million at $0.08/share
- Further $1.5m Share Purchase Plan at $0.08/share underway
- Funds applied to marketing, customer acquisition and R&D
- Grown shareholder value by 400+% since listing 5 1⁄2 months ago
CorporateAll facts and easy enough to read.
- Senior Leadership Team appointments – added Steve Tot (VP Sales) and Nick Horton (VP Marketing)
- Strengthened Board - appointment of Giles Everist as Non-Executive Director
Couple that with the strong downloads and positioning in key markets and think all looks ok to me.
They do what they say will and they do it when they say they will do it - always a good sign in my book
There will be a few tomorrow who will talk down any announcement but so what? There will be those who will ramp the bejesus out of the announcement. In the end - the SP will find a price that the market can wear.
In my opinion, I think the "ducks" are all lined up and I am looking forward to some green tomorrow. GO back and have a read of the MD presentation. I would bet that some here have not even given it a cursory glance. If you have not - then you should. This will be your shield against the ill-informed fear mongers that might drift into view tomorrow. And there is no shortage of them on HC, or anywhere else in life, sadly.
And good luck to you whatever your investment strategy.
