I would find it extremely difficult to believe the deal would be factored into the share price. Ever since the BBI speculation (28c share price spike), the market has been very non-responsive to announcements without explicit earnings. If the announcement stating the completion of the deal in a few days doesn't specifically mention earnings, it may be the case that the share price only gradually increases until it is mentioned (most likely Jan 31 Quarterly).
