You are right in thinking gold has a fingerprint even if it's 99.99% pure. The technology was developed here in WA. Every gold bar in the world can be tested & the trace elements identify from where the gold originated down to the individual mine/mines that the gold was mined from. Alluvial & Elluvial gold is some what different due to transportation over the milleneum. Like most things gold is easily disposed of on the black market, if you have the right contacts, it has been throughout history & will continue to be so i would imagine.Kerry Packer lost about half a ton of gold bars years ago in a very sophisticated robbery. The gold was never found or anybody charged. Assay results from previous drilling at the Old Pirate complex now have to also be brought into question. As i have stated on many occasions you only need a spec of visible gold in a sample to send the assay grade through the roof & we are mining a nuggety gold system. I don't believe in the stolen gold theory for our loss of ounces, but it's possible. ABU have treated this whole episode with blind arrogance & ineptitude. The current historical BOD should not be in charge of this company or any other company in the future. I bet if it was THEIR not so hard earned cash & not share holder funds that they depended on to live the outcome of this disgracefull debacle would have been entirely different.
