Tullow has 600mb ++ in Kenya. They have many many hundreds of millions, billions in fact in the Jv in Uganda. They have many hundreds of millions in Ghanas jubilee. I'm sure lots of other prospects both proven and probable that I'm not sure of, Yet they are only worth a few billion.

Why would a big company bother with FAR when there are companies like this around at the moment valued so cheap with so many prime assets and not only prime assets but producing assets also.

Tullow sold 33.3% of there Uganda assets to CNOOC and Total split evenly. One third each, with the two companies Paying approx $1.45B each to Tullow. It's a world class discovery and the sale was made after a number of appraisals by Tullow. They target 200,000-300,000 bopd across the province. The sale was in 2011 when oil was perhaps 3 times higher than now.

Im sure there are advantages to our Senegal acreage over this Uganda acreage such as the good economics etc but Im just keeping an open perspective on the fact that at this early stage of the game we may not get the kind of offers we are hoping for, if or when they come.
