Well it seems like the stop loss discussion was relevant and also hard to find an exact solution, I do think that different 'online' brokers all offer various things - I guess it is a matter of figuring out what you use and how to drive it-
etrade pro offers different options from previous day high low etc - however my main takeaway from all the discussion is that there is no magic bullet --- none zero- if there is a falling market its curtains--- simple answer I guess-
But now I know that there is no such thing as insurance against the falling market - I am reposting this as I see on this thread that there is more coming asking the same questions- read back through the weekend thread peeps I got a whole lot of great thoughts and ideas from this thread---- it is not an exact science was the overwhelming answer ....
So for me what I am going to do from now on is to pick my trades and get out - never hold overnight on anything speculative --- even the reputable companies are volatile in this climate so -- maybe place the bets on things that are not sensitive to extremes>>>And that is a whole new discussion-
