Yes HH, I have a new job with a much smaller company. Whether I was retired or not, I have over 35 years in the construction industry. Doesn't meant I know better however.
But it is safe bet that I have far more experience in construction than all of our learned directors combined. There is a common misconception that our directors, as experienced as they are in their specialist fields, that they understand construction. Unless they have done 30 years of construction, they don't.

That's ok, because they have employed people who do.

What is frustrating is that some people who no idea, instead of appreciating the diversification of information, they default to the company is always right and anybody who questions is wrong.

That is unhealthy.

AVB installed a mobile crusher in AN. Anybody who has been in this industry (mining or civil) understands that a mobile crusher is powered by diesel motors not electricity from the grid.

Then some "respected" poster draws a conclusion from this that the electrical power to site must be on before Christmas.

Then goes further to say that AVB has started commissioning before Christmas in a "modest way".

That is simply not true in a reasonable view.

Yet when this "respected" poster is found to be most likely incorrect, he doesn't retract his view nor does he take away all the following personal attacks.

Do I really care? No.
