I can for see contestants paying for an entry with no problems, a million dollars as well as social media spot light would entice a lot of wanna be musicians.
Would people pay to vote? Well that is dependent on the execution of the show.
A few things that IMO we will hear more about that would also entice subscriptions and viewing is:
1. Big name music judge panel
2. Studio quality videos for top 10 or somewhere there finalists
3. Audience able to interact with contestants via social media platform
4. A good host/hostess
If you go over the presentation link i uploaded a few posts up, you will notice big Hollywood names attached. I would say management have a pretty good idea of how to make this successful. Looking forward to reading the updates as time nears for the competition. Justen Bieber on the judge panel would make the girls pay for sure
