I am not so sure that anything that was said was that different to what is discussed on HC.
One important point that wasnt mentioned that has always troubled me with OSL is that if you have localised disease then that is great for brachytherapy... but it is even better for definitive surgery to give a chance of cure. (Once you have spread beyong the initial focus either within the gland or to lymph nodes then brachytherapy is less effective). Surgery isnt an option for all patients and the others might benefit from a trial of brachytherapy, if it is ever proven to be effective treatment, recognising that end points are both survival and QOL. Those studies are needed as with all new treatments.
If Oncosil were to work in HCC, then I think the technical ease of administration may be a positive over Sirtex spheres especially in less developed countries. However, trials are needed and that will take time and money.
For what it is worth, I make my comments as a former Top 20 shareholder who has sold out. My personal reasons for that action were primarily to do with governance and the narrowing down of the board, and the issues surrounding the changing Aussie then US based trial, followed by the departure of Frazer. I may prove wrong, but it was better to back my judgement and take profits when I was uncertain about the future.
