    Your Point 1 - Blackmores are merely producing a product that compliments their existing range of nutritional support products. So their BRANDING stature within China will bring significant weight to the quality of their product. This is no guarantee of course that their product will be up to scratch. If it is, then you can be assured it will capture market share, just as it has within the other nutritional supplement segments. Contrary to the point your trying to make Blackmores are not introducing a product that sits outside their area of business.

    Your Point 2 - A2M production capacity is restricted by the amount of cows they have. These are the words from A2M's CEO "...but the company needs longer lead times than most competitors because it rears cows that produce only A2 protein." So A2M's ability to provide A2 protein based products (its only point of difference) is directly correlated to the number of cows they have available to produce it. The number of cows they have to do that were planned for nearly 3 years ago. Its got nothing to do with the capabilities of the marketing team. If you run out of a product you have nothing left to sell.
    I have no idea - Clearly they planned for expansion (USA etc), but I guess we will find out reasonably soon. Improving milk capacity is possible with current stock as it is with other cows, but at some stage you would have to think that planning done 3 years ago will fall well short of keeping up with the current 30-40% increases in demand. When it does then its another 2+years until more cows can come on line.
