It's interesting, FAR is basically run by geo's and they are excited enough to organise a get together drinks or whatever it is they want to call it. FAR to me are very frugal and although Cath seems to be positive around results and or throw out the occasional hint. I wouldn't imagine the 'technically orientated' team at FAR would be putting on a 'celebration' based on thin air. I am referring purely here to the fact that geo's are conservative by nature and or professionally unexcitable. I understand that when a RIG strikes a big 'one' the Geos on a RIG have a small grin and some very subtle reactions that in non Geo speak would be high fives, screams and laughter. FAR seem to be VERY geo oriented across the board, exec and of course their geo teams.
Then you look at the CNE team, IMHO more-so a commercial entity. Simon, the CEO is ex head of legal and been head of risk. IMHO, if you wanted to keep something quiet - tell Simon. Having worked in commercial environments for 20 odd years, I have for the last 2 years worked under a division of a large entity headed by a lawyer. IMHO, he is absolutely the most likely person on the planet that would enforce a tight hole policy. The sort of person who you could share anything with and be 99.999% certain that no one else would hear it. I guess you could call this post a timewaster and speculation, but interesting to consider the people element at play and differing personality types. Whether CNE release anything is to be seen, however with a Lawyer running the show, the chances of anyone leaking anything pre-show time would be very very low.

Simon originally joined Cairn in 1995 and holds an LLB (Hons) from Aberdeen University and a Diploma in Legal Practice from Glasgow University. He is also a non-executive director of Graham’s The Family Dairy Limited and a member of the advisory Board of the Winning Scotland Foundation.

So for mine, leaning towards something based on the CEO of CNE basically being a lawyer - I would expect that he is maintaining a VERY tight ship. Then manifested within FAR to point to something based on the fact this looks like the first time the champagne has come out via invite. Also based on the fact we have a conservative Geo running our ship.
What is something - I think Whiskey had the most considered opinions around what could be news worthy.
I have absolutely zero idea and based on my own excitable positive optimistic personality will not be disappointed if nothing is released, like a puppy dog, I will just sit and wait until the next ball is thrown.
